We use a selection of domestic and exoctic hardwood species to create our beautiful boards. Every bit of our cutting boards are made from natural and organic materials. We never use dyes, chemicals, or stains. The color you see that makes our boards unique is the color of the tree that the wood was cut from and is 100% natural!

Similar to cast iron pans, wooden cutting boards need seasoned throughout their life to retain their beauty and full function. We season our boards with a 100% Pure food grade mineral oil and then apply a generous amount of our organic beeswax Spruced Moose board butter. Wooden cutting boards require a little extra care, but treat them well and they’ll reward you for years to come!
How To Care For Your Cutting Board
Handwash the board with soap and water
Dry board and store on edge
To remove odors (onion, garlic etc. ) scrub with salt and lemon juice
Reapply a board butter or conditioner ( we recommend our board butter for best results!)
DO NOT place in dishwasher
DO NOT treat with cooking oils
NEVER submerge or ‘soak’ in water
